Titusville Area United Way seeks self-motivated, team player committed to community service and the continued development of the Financial Stability Partnership program.

Program components include:

Budget and credit counseling, and enhancement of client employment skills. The Financial Stability Partnership goal is to improve clients’ financial management habits leading to less reliance on public support and to foster asset growth and retention.

Duties include:

Continuing curriculum development, research, resource development, volunteer recruitment and training and an emphasis on community outreach and marketing.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be 18 years of age, organized, self-motivated and be willing to work independently. In addition, it is important to be punctual. Some college or professional work experience preferred. College graduates and retirees encouraged to apply. A confident and personable attitude is necessary along with the ability to work well as a team. Candidate must be familiar with all necessary PC applications and must be able to successfully research and write grants to aid in the continuing costs of the program. Background in Social Services, business or finance is helpful. This full-time, 40 hour/week position starts in August 2009 and continues for one (1) year.
