LIVE THE SHIRT Reaches 30%
Campaign Chair, Joe Roddy announced today that the 2019 LIVE THE SHIRT Campaign has reached 30% of its $190,000 campaign goal with $57,000 in pledges and contributions in-hand.
During 2018 100% of campaign dollars supported programs in our community that help meet our community’s most pressing needs. Some of the programs include: Associated Charities-Utility Assistance; Center for Financial Independence-Financial Stability Programs/Financial Crisis Aid and Case Management; Scouting programs and camperships; Hospice of Crawford County-Bereavement Services; Youth Connections-Youth Mentoring; Titusville Regional Literacy Council-Adult and Family Literacy; Salvation Army-Basic Needs Crisis Program; Titusville Health and Aging Center-Noon Meals; Titusville YMCA-Summer Youth Enrichment Program; YWCA of Titusville-Housing and Supportive Services; YWCA of Titusville-Fun Factory School Readiness; Community Health Services; Medical Transportation; Family Service & Children’s Aid Society-General Counseling Services. Other United Way programs include the THS Student United Way, 2-1-1 Information and Referral program; Elementary Social Worker; Pre-School Scholarships through EITC, etc.
All programs funded through the United Way campaign support identified community needs and are outcome based. Programs also help to move forward the United Way of the Titusville Region’s mission of being the driving force in improving the lives of people in the region through actions that address and reduce human service needs.
