Ross Joins United Way Team
Joining the forces of the United Way of the Titusville Region is Stacey Ross who has been named as Program Support Specialist for the organization. Stacey is originally from Pittsburgh area and has been a resident of the Titusville community for almost 6 years. She resides with her husband Marc Ross of the University of Pittsburgh-Titusville, their son, Simon Ross, 6, and a 2 year old dog, Hank. Stacey is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Edinboro University and is due to graduate in May 2020. She has obtained Dean’s list in several semesters and is Vice President of the Social Work Club. “Joining the United Way team is an amazing opportunity to serve my community.” Stacey has a background in medical assisting for 8 years in the Dermatology field. She looks forward to using her knowledge of working with patient’s to serve the clients at the United Way. “I have always loved talking to people and hearing their stories. I have a passion for helping others and this opportunity will allow me to do so in my own community.” When Stacey is not working or at school she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and traveling.
“We are thrilled to have Stacey with our United Way, stated Terri Ann Wig, Chief Professional Officer, her career experiences and goals along with her upbeat personality, make her a perfect fit for our team.” Stacey will take on the duties of the soon to be retired, Betty Fry including client in-take and case management for the Center for Financial Independence and will work hand-in-hand with the United Way staff on all projects and activities.
